Cute Pictures of Sophie

Here's some new pictures of Sophie after bath time, in a furry coat that's way too big, and sitting and talking to her daddy, which she does everyday because she loves to tell him what's happening in her little life.
Sophie just hanging out in her little ducky towel after her bath, so cute!
Sitting on her Daddy telling him all about her day. She really talks to him...and uses her hands; she's so animated, it's just adorable to watch!
This one I just had to add because it makes me laugh so hard. My dad says she looks like a giant marshmallow and tanner thinks that Sophie's just thinking to herself, "Why the heck would my mommy put me in this thing, it's so humiliating, I don't understand." Even though it's atroucious (I hope that's how you spell it), she still looks cute haha!

Brittany Bartosiewicz Photography

Alright, so my sister Brittany is an aspiring photographer. She doesn't know if she necessarily wants to do fashion photography or something along the lines of National Geographic. However, we've always wanted to do a photoshoot together since she's developed her talent last fall. I know when you look at these photos you'll probably think they're really weird but oh well haha. We were going for the look of like a Victorian Vogue Bride. To get me to look like this we blow dried my hair really big, brushed it out and then teezed it all over (Yes, I know my hair is larger then life). Then Brit did my make up and we found this dress at D.I. We both saw it at the same time and fell in love with it! Originally, it was $75 but the clerk let us have it for $35! It's all lace so we thought that was a super good deal! Anyway, I just wanted to show off my sisters talent and let everyone know that I'm so proud of her and love her so much! She's my best friend! So, enjoy some of the best pictures of our photoshoot!

Family is Awesome!

I love my sisters. I'm so glad I have them both in my life. Sophie and I were able to hang out with my family for the weekend up in Fruit Heights, while Tanner went up to Stanrod and worked for his dad. I love my fam, they're awesome! Anyway, this is us at Corbin's for dessert...oh my goodness I just have four words "molten chocolate lava cake" DELICIOUS! If you ever go, you'll have to try it. We just saw 17 Again with Zac Efron and Matthew Perry. So cute and funny! I must admit I cried a little...I'm very emotional lately. I think it's from all the excess hormones I still have. Anyway, these pics are just of me and brit..the rest of the fam didn't make it to the blog, sadly.
Best Friends Forever!

Brit started to do this pose a lot when she was over in Italy last fall so we just decided to show how good we both could together doing her "signature" pose.

Crazy-creeped out face.

Brit's Chinese peace pose. (Oh at least Car made it into a picture)

Sophie Growling like a Bear

Sophie is so funny and smart! When she and I were in St. George with my parents last week my dad asked her what a bear said and she responded perfectly. When I got home and told Tanner what she did we tried it again together, filmed it, and this is what happend. Remember she's just a little over two months old.

Sophie's Blessing Day

We went up to Tanner's old ward in Almo, ID this weekend for Sophie's blessing and had such an amazing time. It was so wonderful to have all of our families who could attend be there with us for the special day. I'm so grateful for Tanner. I'm grateful that he is a worthy preisthood holder and had the opportunity to bless our baby. I love him so much! I wanted to express how grateful I am to be a mother. I know that it truly is my divine calling and I'm so happy to have that knowledge. I love my little girl and am so happy that she is with me and Tanner. I look forward to the years I'll be able to watch her grow. She is such an amazing baby, never cries unless she really needs to, i.e. because she's hungry, or lonely, or has a dirty diaper. Other then that, she's bright eyed all of the time and smiles to everyone she comes across. She has the cutest personality. Here's some pictures from her special day. My sister Brittany took these photos...there's more to come when I can get them from her.
Daddy and baby together...they love each other so much!

Cakes I made for Easter..Sophie's name got squished! They still tasted good though! (Her cake is supposed to be an Easter egg if you couldn't tell haha).

My gorgeous baby in her blessing dress. You can't really see the detail on her dress but it was absolutely beautiful! Thanks mom for letting me borrow it!

Mimi, GP, Sophie and I on her big day.

This was Sophie taking a bath before we went to the church...I just had to put it up because she just looks so amazing! She has perfect eye contact and lushish (sp) lips!

We finally captured one of her big toothless smiles! She is such a happy baby!

Proud parents of such an amazing little girl.

We just love our little Sophie!

Happy little family.

Sophie's Nap Time

So this is what Sophie looks like when I put her down for her nap time...all tucked up nicely in her blankey and looks as peaceful as can be.

And this is what Sophie looks like after I come back in to check on her like two minutes later! I don't know why but she always kicks the blanket off her feet. I think she might have restless leg syndrome? :).

A night out with friends and family

Me and my dad's classic kissy face.

My mommy and I...it's funny how we don't really look alike at all.

I seriously think I could be classified as one of the Cullen vampires.

Us girls eating at delicious Corbin's, so yummy!

The gang at Shelley's bridal shower...it's amazing how much things have changed in the past two years since we've been apart. Love you guys!

Sophie's Two Month Checkup

Sophie had her two month checkup today and she is as healthy as baby horse! :) She now weighs 11.5 pounds, head circumference is 39 centimeters, and length is around 23 inches or so. She is averaging somewhere around the 75th percentile, so we're happy! I thought going in to her doctor appointment she would at least weigh somewhere around 14 pounds...I was way off! She's getting harder to carry in her little carseat...it gives me a workout! I just wanted to let everyone know she is doing great, getting cuter everyday, and is so alert all of the time. I truly think she understands what we say to her because she reacts to us either by smiling or making funny faces. We just love her!

So I absolutely love both of these swim suits, however, I can probably only get one of them. So let me know which one you like best! Thanks!

"Bobble Head Babies" and "Strawberry Toe Jam"

More videos of Tanner playing with Sophie. I don't know where he comes up with the stuff that he does, but it's funny, so I just had to show everyone else.

Family and Baby Friends with Sophie

Eli Pelo playing with Sophie. She kept trying to get Sophie to wake up. She would say, "Baby, wake up please." And when Sophie's binki fell out she kept putting it back in for her. She's only two and already acting like a mommy. It was so cute!

Aunt Sally and Sophie

Uncle Ian and Sophie. He loves Sophie so much. Every time he sees her he always asks me if he can hold her. He assures me that he can hold her standing up...which I'm sure he can, but it scares me so I don't let him haha.

Our Tough Little Girl

This may be gross to some of you...but oh well. Even when Sophie throws up its cute to us. Haha. This is actually after the monsterous event :). We just thought her face and mannerism were so cute that we had to capture it on film. It's like you can hear her thinking, "Mommy, Daddy, I threw up a lot and made a big mess. It wasn't fun." She didn't even cry when it happened, she's so tough!

Good News!

I just spoke with my nurses pedietrician and she confirmed the results of Sophie's EEG were normal. YAY! They still recommend we continue with the MRI, however, Tanner and I will have to discuss that. Regardless, if we don't get the MRI, they would like us to take her to Primary Children's hospital and show the video I have of Sophie to a neurologist. I will keep you updated on what happens. Thanks for all the prayers!

Sophie getting her EEG

About two weeks ago Sophie had what we think was a mild "seizure" for lack of a better word. The first time she had one of these "mild seizures" it scared us but after praying we felt reassured that it wasn't serious. We wanted to show her pedietrican just in case there could be a chance that there was something wrong. Fortuantely, I caught the incident on video and showed it to her pedietrican, who suggested Sophie get an EEG (a test for brainwave activity during sleep). Since I have epilepsy in my family, I'm kind of used to these kind of tests because of my little sister Carly, so it wasn't very dramatic or scary. Sophie did really well...she didn't cry or squirm at all when the nurse was putting all of the wires on her head...trust me, there were a lot of wires as you can see in the picture. Our daughter is so tough! The only thing that was sad was when we had to pull the tape off of her head and shoulders...I've never heard her cry so hard in all of her life. It made me sad. Anyway, we will receive the results hopefully tomorrow or the next day. From what I observed in her test, it seemed like her brainwaves were normal, so I'm reassured. Tanner gave her a blessing too and we felt that she is okay, hopefully the results will reassure our feelings. I just wanted to document what happened and ask for your prayers. Thanks!

What seemed like the hundreds of wires that the nurse put on Sophie. She just slept through it, pretty amazing!

After all the wires were put on the nurse wrapped her head in gauze to make sure Sophie didn't pull any of them off. Again, she did exactly what she was supposed to do and slept. It actually took her about two hours to fall asleep but in the end they got what they needed.

Sophie's first basketball game

She slept soundly on the way up to Midway to watch her daddy's basketball game. Don't her lips just look luscious in this picture :).

Sophie and I getting ready to watch the game. I guess she didn't really watch anything since she slept the entire time haha.

Isn't this outfit just adorable? She's just so darn cute!

Again a picture of our peaceful sleeping baby. I can't believe she slept through all the noise...sometimes she would get startled when the buzzer sounded but then she would go right back to sleep.
